Tbilisi Bus Routes for Visitors 2026: 337, 320, 350, 364

Tbilisi has about 280 bus and minibus routes and a visitor needs roughly ten of them: the airport bus, the two that link the old town to the Didube and Samgori marshrutka yards, the ones that pass the sulfur baths and Ortachala, the buses up Mtatsminda and out to Turtle Lake and Lisi Lake. This page lists those routes with the stops that matter, the first and last bus, how often they run and how long they take, read from the Tbilisi Transport Company's own timetables on 3 October 2026.

A city bus on a central Tbilisi avenue. Every route costs 1 GEL, tapped on the yellow reader inside the door, and the big ones run every 9 to 15 minutes.

Quick answer

Every Tbilisi bus is 1 GEL (about $0.38), tapped once on the yellow reader inside the door with a contactless bank card, a phone wallet or a Metromoney card; there is no tap-off and no ticket. The ones to know: 337 from the airport to Avlabari, Freedom Square and Station Square (06:00 to about 23:00, every 15 minutes); 320 from Freedom Square through Marjanishvili to the Didube marshrutka yard (every 9 minutes); 350 and 371 past the sulfur baths to Ortachala and Samgori; 364 from Freedom Square up to Mtatsminda Park; 359 to Vake Park and the Turtle Lake road. There are no night buses: the last departures from the centre are between 22:40 and 23:05.

How Tbilisi buses work

The fleet is modern, low-floor and air-conditioned, with a screen showing the next stop in Georgian and English, and the system is simpler than it looks from the pavement. Board by any door and tap once on the yellow reader on the pole: a contactless Visa or Mastercard, a phone wallet or a white Metromoney card all work, and the driver does not sell anything. The Tbilisi Transport Company's tariff, read on 3 October 2026, is 1 GEL a ride with 90 minutes of free transfers between buses, minibuses and the metro when you pay with Metromoney or a bank card; pay through the company's app or in cash, on the few buses that still have a cash machine, and the 90-minute window does not apply. Foreign bank cards are charged about 1.50 GEL a ride. The blue Travel Card's unlimited passes are 3 GEL for a day, 20 GEL for a week and 40 GEL for a month. Our Tbilisi public transport guide explains which card to buy and where; this page is about the routes.

One tap on the reader by the door, on entry only. A bank card pays about 1.50 GEL, a Metromoney card 1 GEL, and either starts the 90-minute transfer window.

Route numbers in the 300s are the full-size buses; the 400s and 500s are the city minibuses, same fare, same readers. Every vehicle reports its position live, so Google Maps transit directions, the company's own journey planner at transit.ttc.com.ge and its Tbilisi Transport app all show where your bus is and when it will reach the stop. The electronic boards at the bigger stops show the same data. The timetables below are the company's published schedules for the week of 3 to 9 October 2026; the first and last times are departures from the ends of the route, and buses run less often on Sundays than on weekdays on most lines, so use the app for the exact minute. Inspectors with handheld readers check taps at stops, and a ride without a valid tap is fined.

Bus 337: Tbilisi Airport to Station Square

Passengers with suitcases boarding a blue city bus at the stop in front of Tbilisi Airport arrivals
The 337 at the stop in front of arrivals. From here it is 45 minutes on the timetable to Avlabari and 70 to Station Square.

The only public transport to the airport, and the route most visitors ride first. It leaves from the stop directly outside the arrivals hall, runs down Kakheti Highway past Samgori and Isani, along Queen Ketevan Avenue to Avlabari, crosses the river to Freedom Square, and finishes at Station Square under the railway station. The company's timetable gives it 70 minutes end to end; weekday rush hour is slower. Everything you need in the first hour is on it: Avlabari metro for the red line, Freedom Square for the old town and Sololaki, Station Square for trains and the metro to Didube. Our airport guide compares it with Bolt and a booked driver, and the arrival helper ranks them for your landing time.

The airport's own page still prints 06:59 to 22:59 and the pre-closure route along Rustaveli; the company's schedule above is the one the buses run to. A flight landing after about 22:00 will miss the last bus once you have cleared passport control and baggage, and nothing replaces it overnight: that is Bolt or a driver booked in advance.

Bus 320: Freedom Square to Marjanishvili and Didube

The most useful city bus after the 337, and the busiest on this list. From Baratashvili Street it calls at Freedom Square, runs up the right bank past Dedaena Park (get off here for the Dry Bridge flea market on a weekend morning), crosses to Saarbrücken Square and the left bank, stops at the Marjanishvili Theatre and Marjanishvili metro for Fabrika and the Aghmashenebeli Avenue restaurants, then continues through Tsereteli to Didube metro, where the marshrutka yard for Mtskheta, Kazbegi, Gori, Borjomi, Kutaisi and Batumi is outside the exit. It carries on to the Dighomi housing blocks, which you do not need. With luggage, the metro from Station Square is quicker to Didube; from the old town with a daypack, the 320 saves the walk to a station.

Buses 350 and 371: the sulfur baths, Ortachala and Samgori

Two routes share the same stretch out of the centre, and together they give a bus every 7 or 8 minutes along it. Both start at Baratashvili Street, cross the Mshvidoba Bridge, stop at Abanotubani (the sulfur bath district, the stop is right at the domes), pass the 300 Aragveli memorial, then Ortachala Street for the international coach station, Isani metro and Samgori metro, before heading out to Varketili. In the inbound direction they come round by Europe Square, Sioni Street and Erekle II Street, which is to say they cross the old town itself to Freedom Square. The 350 goes on past Varketili to Tbilisi Sea Plaza, the shopping centre by the Tbilisi Sea; the 371 ends in the Varketili blocks. Use either for the baths from the old town's north end, for the Ortachala coaches to Yerevan and Baku, and for the Kakheti vans at Samgori.

Bus 325: Avlabari and the Kakheti vans at Samgori

The direct line from the old town's edge to the Navtlughi terminal. From Baratashvili Street it climbs Wine Rise to Avlabari metro, then follows Queen Ketevan Avenue through 300 Aragveli and Isani to Samgori, where the Sighnaghi, Telavi and Kvareli vans wait beside the station, and goes on to Varketili and the Vazisubani blocks. It is the same road the 337 uses, so if you are heading for Kakheti on the morning you leave the old town, the 325 is 21 minutes to Samgori against the metro's change at Station Square. The marshrutka guide has the Kakheti fares.

Sunday07:53 to 22:52 from the centre, every 14 to 15 minutes

Bus 333: Avlabari to Didube and Tbilisi Mall

A long cross-city line that nobody rides end to end, useful for one thing: it links Avlabari, Rike and the left bank directly to Didube without the metro, and then continues up the Aghmashenebeli Alley to Tbilisi Mall, the biggest shopping centre, at the city's northern edge. Inbound it comes through Europe Square and Wine Rise, so from the Peace Bridge you can be at Didube in about half an hour without changing. Beyond Avlabari it runs the Queen Ketevan Avenue corridor to Samgori and Vazisubani like the 325. It runs the same timetable seven days a week.

Buses 364 and 390: up Mtatsminda

A small blue city bus on the hairpin road through pines on Mtatsminda hill above Tbilisi with the television tower on the ridge
The road up through Okrokana to Mtatsminda Park. The 364 takes 29 minutes from Freedom Square for 1 GEL; the funicular is 12 GEL and four minutes.

The funicular costs 12 GEL and takes only the park's own card. The bus costs 1 GEL, takes half an hour, and climbs through Sololaki and the hillside village of Okrokana with the city opening up below on the hairpins, which is the better ride if you are not in a hurry. Two routes do it. The 364 starts at Freedom Square, goes up Sulkhan-Saba and Lermontov streets through Sololaki, loops through Okrokana and ends at Mtatsminda Park by the funicular's upper station; the 390 does the same climb from Baratashvili Street. Ride one up, look at the city from the terrace, then take the funicular down for the view and the 1958 station building, or walk down through the pines. The things to do guide covers the park.

390, every day07:38 to 22:38 up from Baratashvili Street, 07:00 to 22:45 down from the park, every 15 minutes, 32 minutes up

Bus 359: Vake Park and the Turtle Lake road

The old town to Vake without the metro's change at Station Square. The 359 leaves Baratashvili Street, crosses to Marjanishvili (theatre and metro), comes back over the Galaktion Tabidze Bridge to the Concert Hall, then runs the length of Chavchavadze Avenue through Vake to Vake Park and the Turtle Lake Lane stop at the foot of the road up to the lake, before ending at the Bagebi student hostels. For Turtle Lake itself, get off at Vake Park and take the municipal cable car from the top of the park (1 GEL, Metromoney or bank card), or get off one stop later and walk up the lane, a steep climb of roughly 1.5 km. The 383 covers the same ground from a different angle: Baratashvili Street through Sololaki, past the funicular's lower station on Funikuliori Street and through Vera to Vake Park (26 minutes), Delisi metro and State University, every 13 minutes from 07:00 to 23:00 daily.

Weekdays07:03 to 23:00 from Baratashvili Street, 07:34 to 23:03 from Bagebi, every 11 minutes
Weekends07:30 to 22:58 from the centre, 08:24 to 23:01 from Bagebi, every 17 minutes

Bus 329: Lisi Lake

Lisi Lake, the reservoir in the hills above Saburtalo with a running track round it and a few cafes, has one bus. The 329 leaves Station Square, climbs through Heroes' Square, Technical University metro and City Hall on Saakadze Square, and reaches the Lisi Lake Settlement stop in 24 minutes, about a kilometre from the lake's eastern shore; it then loops out through the village of Tkhinvala and comes back the same way, so the same bus returns you to Station Square. Every 25 minutes Monday to Saturday from 06:30 to 23:10, every 33 minutes on Sunday. A Bolt from Vake is the alternative for a group, and the day hikes guide has the walking routes above the lake.

Night buses

There are none. The transport company's route list on 3 October 2026 carried no night routes, and the last departures from the centre on every line above fall between 22:40 and 23:05, with the last metro trains at midnight. After that it is Bolt, which is cheap enough that the gap matters less than it sounds: a central ride is 4 to 7 GEL, and the Bolt guide covers the late-night surge.

Mistakes

MistakeDo this instead
Waiting on Rustaveli Avenue for the 337The avenue is closed until late November 2026 and no bus serves it. Board at Freedom Square inbound, Baratashvili Street or Public Service Hall outbound, or at Heroes' Square
Paying the driverDrivers sell nothing. Tap a bank card or a Metromoney card on the yellow reader by the door; a phone wallet works too
Tapping the app for a transferOnly Metromoney and bank-card taps start the 90-minute free transfer window; the mobile app and cash do not
Reading a paper timetable at the stopUse Google Maps or the Tbilisi Transport app, which show every bus live; the Sunday frequency is lower on most routes
Taking the 320 to Didube with suitcases at 09:00The bus is full in the morning rush. Take the red metro line from Station Square, two stops
Planning a bus back from the airport after a 22:30 landingThe last 337 leaves the airport at 23:00 on weekdays and 22:57 at weekends, which bags and passport control will not make. Book a driver or call a Bolt
