How we make money

The Georgian Guide is free to read and carries no display advertising. Some of the booking links in our guides are affiliate links: if you click one and book, the partner pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price as you would going to the partner directly.

Who we work with

Booking blocks on the site may link to car rental marketplaces (Localrent, Discover Cars), accommodation (Booking.com), tours and day trips (GetYourGuide, Viator), eSIM providers (Airalo) and travel insurance (SafetyWing). Every such block is labelled and carries a one-line disclosure. Where a link earns us a commission it is marked rel="sponsored" in the page code.

What it does not change

We recommend what we would tell a friend. When the best answer is a marshrutka, Bolt, a direct booking with a guesthouse or simply not going, we say so, even though none of those pay us anything. Where a partner's inventory is weak for Georgia (for example, 4x4 rentals for Tusheti), we tell you to book locally instead.

Accuracy

Prices, opening hours and rules in our guides are checked against official or operator sources and each guide shows when it was last verified. If you find something out of date, the fastest fix is the contact link in the footer.
